Our Story
Hi, I’m Danica, the founder and baker behind Mazel Morsels.
This all started with a simple realization.
While in the process of converting to Judaism and beginning to observe Shabbat, I found that traditional challah loaves were simply too large for the way I celebrate. As the only Jewish person in my home, I wasn’t looking for abundance. I was looking for something that fit the moment.
So I started baking smaller portions for myself. Just enough for those meaningful bites. And then I realized I couldn’t be the only one.
Mazel Morsels offers thoughtfully portioned, small-batch baked goods designed with intention and care. Created for individuals, small households, and those seeking a more personal way to honor tradition, each bake is sized to fit the moment without excess.
